According to CNBC reports, Amazon plans to start this year’s prime day on October 13. Allegedly, Amazon notified warehouse workers that they would not be able to submit vacation applications between October 13 and October 20.

Amazon has recently taken several initiatives to indicate that its annual Golden Day event may kick off in the next few weeks.

An internal Amazon email obtained by a brand said that the two-day shopping event will be held from October 13th to 14th, and the official announcement is scheduled to be held on September 27th.

Amazon confirmed in July that it would postpone prime day in the United States, and stated in its second-quarter earnings report that the event will be held in the fourth quarter. It has previously told third-party sellers to use the week of October 5 as a “placement date” for “Prime Day” promotions and coupons.

Now, about a week before the fourth quarter, Amazon seems to be preparing for the brands, sellers and employees in its operating network to prepare for the upcoming shopping event.

Fahim Naim, the executive officer of Amazon’s former e-commerce consulting firm eShopportunity, said the company also restricted brands from submitting certain transactions during the week of October 13, indicating that this year’s prime day will be held at that time. . CNBC’s notice shows that suppliers can submit limited-time promotions or “lightning deals” until October 11.

An Amazon spokesperson told CNBC in a statement that the company has not announced any dates for Prime Day.
